Books are like new clean and crisp with no writing. Four raised spine bands, orange silk patterned endpapers and sewn-in satin bookmarks. Bound in dark brown leather stamped in gold with gilt stained page ends. Because of the size (909 pages) and weight of the book, it will most likely need extra postage for priority or international shipping.

This is a scarce edition -this is the only copy I have ever seen and I would hazard a guess that the print run was small. The flaps are not creased or price-clipped, and the endpages and pastedowns are spotless (no foxing or offsetting). The title and author's name are in reddish-orange (orangish-red?) and are perhaps the tiniest bit faded on the spine - almost imperceptible, you have to look carefully to see this. The dustjacket is fine as well, although there are a few shallow wrinkles and creases in the faux gold-foil like finish. The corners are sharp, there is no writing or marking anywhere. A copy of this massive book in collector's condition: the book (which appears to be unread) is fine - the page edges are slightly tanned (an unavoidable problem in my opinion because of the age of the book and the grade of paper used) and there are a few tiny dings on the edges.
